Teaching assistants support learning activities across all key stages, and in all different types of schools across the UK.
As a teaching assistant you may work in a particular area such as literacy or numeracy, or with special educational needs (SEN). These could be children with learning or physical disabilities, or with other special needs. Sometimes a TA may have particular language skills to assist pupils where English is not their native tongue.
You may work with individual students or with groups of children. You may also undertake other duties to free up a teacher’s time. Sometimes a teaching assistant may be asked to take the whole class (although in theory this should only be HLTAs).
We pride ourselves on the rapport we build with teaching assistants, helping to make good recruitment decisions and allowing us to achieve successful placements.Call us for an informal chat or register now and let us help you find your next teaching assistant placement!
